
We source our
free ranging, BSE free beef, directly from the Orkney Isles where a
combination of the fertile landscape and easy island pace is an ideal
environment for raising grass fed livestock. Animals are slaughtered
humanely on the Island in a brand new abattoir reducing the usual level of
stress to a minimum. Meat is hung on the bone for at least ten days
to ensure optimum taste and tenderness (a technique virtually unknown to
supermarkets) before transporting direct to us for skilled preparation
into wonderful joints and steaks.
